Codekub is a collection of scripts that automatically configure a Linux desktop environment (primarily GNOME-based) with:
- Themes, wallpapers, fonts, and icons
- Desktop customization and startup applications
- Terminal and shell setup (Zsh, Oh My Zsh, Powerlevel10k)
- Programming languages, tools, and development environment
The goal is to create a ready-to-use, beginner-friendly Linux environment while also being extensible for developers.

Developer Notes:
boot.shshould always use themainbranch for default installations.- Using a development branch (
dev) is for testing only; changes there will not appear for normal users.
Purpose:
- Main installer script
- Clones source files and prepares Codekub environment
- Installs tools, themes, and desktop configurations
What it does:
- Installs essential CLI tools like
gumfor interactive prompts - Detects system environment and dependencies (live session vs installed OS, user detection, etc.)
- Offers optional configurations for desktop, terminal, and development tools
Important Notes:

Reboot logic from
gumis moved to Zsh configuration -
Zsh setup installs Antigen; the terminal setup will fail if it’s missing
Once the scripts finish, Codekub configures the desktop:
- Default theme: Tokyo Night
- Wallpapers are located in the
theme/folder

Optional Installation via Codekub App:
- Users can install/uninstall apps and adjust settings from the Codekub GUI
