Fails to install with uvx or pip

I've never soon something like this before, it tried to install the package 10 times and went down in version every time.

 is looking at multiple versions of extractcode[full] to determine which version is compatible with other requirements. This could take a while.

It would be nice if uvx and then the tool would just run.

@alperchoco What is the computer OS you are running this on? If it is MacOS ARM this is a known and documented problem.

Yes, it's macOS ARM.

Mac (Apple Silicon): use the X86 emulation mode on Apple ARM M1 CPUs.
(Note that pip install does not work on ARM CPUs) See https://scancode-toolkit.readthedocs.io/en/stable/getting-started/installation/index.html#install-scancode

also search issues with "macos arm" to see the known issues
