Why:

The page https://docs.github.com/en/pull-requests/committing-changes-to-your-project/viewing-and-comparing-commits/differences-between-commit-views is outdated - the example links to the Rust repo show no files, because it moved from master to main.

What's being changed (if available, include any code snippets, screenshots, or gifs):

  • Update links to rust repo from master to main.
  • Make the list items parallel, punctuated and include actual steps to get to the Commits page.

Check off the following:

  • A subject matter expert (SME) has reviewed the technical accuracy of the content in this PR. In most cases, the author can be the SME. Open source contributions may require an SME review from GitHub staff.
    • I have validated the links and the steps myself.
  • The changes in this PR meet the docs fundamentals that are required for all content.
  • All CI checks are passing and the changes look good in the review environment.

- Update links to rust repo from `master` to `main`
- Make the list items parallel, punctuated and include actual steps to get to the Commits page
